UR Medicine's Center for Neuromodulation brings together neurologists, anesthesiologists, neurosurgeons, nurse practitioners, and therapists to offer true multidisciplinary care.
For patients with chronic pain requiring medical management, we provide ongoing, collaborative management and treatment plans. We coordinate treatment plans with referring providers, to support continuity of care.
Our neurosurgeons and pain medicine experts specialize in techniques such as DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation), SCS (Spinal Cord Stimulation), Dorsal Ganglia Stimulation, and Intrathecal Infusion Therapy.

- In order to adequately serve patients from large distances, we have several locations, which all include free parking.

The Â鶹ÊÓƵ is the only institution in the Rochester metropolitan area and surrounding region able to provide the latest treatments for neurological conditions that can’t be fully cured such as Parkinson’s Disease and ongoing pain conditions.
We also lead leading-edge research and clinical trials for conditions such as spine disease and neuropathic pain. We accept most insurances, including workers’ compensation and government health plans.
