If you’re not able to be seen at your primary care provider’s office, Virtual Urgent Care is a quick and convenient way to get telemedicine care from anywhere. Virtual Urgent Care is available to patients in New York State and Florida over the age of 5.

- Sign up: Enter your information and symptoms using your phone, computer, or tablet.
- Meet online: Our medical provider will diagnose and treat your symptoms during the video call.

Conditions We Treat
Virtual Urgent Care is a good choice for common medical conditions and minor illnesses, like colds, coughs, headaches, infections, rashes and more. Check our symptom guide to see if your symptoms can be treated in a video visit.
Serious and acute conditions like chest pain, fainting, difficulty breathing, severe allergic reactions and new musculoskeletal injuries should be seen at your nearest emergency room.
Call your primary care doctor's office for preventive care (e.g. immunization), chronic condition management, and non-emergency care. Consider urgent care for acute illnesses/injury or call 911 for medical emergencies.

The UR Medicine Digital Health Team is available seven days a week to provide quick care for non-urgent health concerns via a live video chat.
Fill out your information and symptoms from a phone, tablet or computer and one of our Digital Health Team providers will join the call, discuss your symptoms, and provide a treatment plan.
To get started, click the link above and enter your information and symptoms into our Virtual Urgent Care platform. You can do this using a mobile phone, tablet, or computer.
Once you’ve filled out your information, you’ll enter a waiting room while we identify the best UR Medicine Digital Health provider available. The provider will join the video visit, discuss your symptoms with you and provide a treatment plan.
Virtual Urgent Care is available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m.–8 p.m., and Weekends from 8 a.m.–12 p.m. & 12:30–4:30 p.m. Virtual Urgent Care is not available outside of the scheduled hours or if wait times are greater than 2 hours.
If you prefer to schedule an appointment with your PCP, you may do that through MyChart or by calling the office If your needs are more urgent, you should call your doctor’s office or visit an urgent care center. If you’re experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
Anyone over the age of 5 living in New York State or Florida can use Virtual Urgent Care.
Please Note: If you are seeking care for your Worker’s Compensation, Motor Vehicle, or Veteran’s Association concerns, please contact your Primary Care Provider’s office.
Virtual Urgent Care will be billed through your insurance or you may prefer to pay through your credit card, a $90 fee will be charged, whichever option is best for you. If billed through your insurance, it is subject to a copayment or deductible. If you have Medicare or Medicaid insurance, unfortunately self-pay is not an option.
