EIOH Resident Profile: Dr. Pablo Acuna
Dr. Pablo Carmona Acuna is from Malaga--a warm city in south Spain, and is a resident in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. It wasn't until his third year in dental school when he was sure he wanted to become a dentist. He was also considering marketing, public relations and economics.
Q. What is your favorite thing about EIOH?
A. I have found a lot of friends that make it feel as EIOH is your own house.
Q. Describe yourself in three words
A. Persistent, overthinker, foodie
Q. You’re having a bad day – what do you do to feel better?
A.Training at the gym
Q. Hobbies or talents?
A. My hobby is cooking. My talent is eating! Pasta is a must every week.
Q.Why did you choosd Eastman Institute for Oral Health?
A. EIOH is a very advanced program for the general dentist, and is also amazing to reinforce existing skills and gain new ones.
Q. What is the best part of program so far?
A. Sharing time with good friends and super skilled dentists. It's the perfect opportunity to share knowledge and support.
Q. What's your favorite place in Rochester?
A. Park Avenue area is a must!
Q. What do you plan to do when you graduate?
A. I will look for a job in private practice, probably in a warmer state
