EIOH Resident Spotlight – Dr. Christopher Burns
Not only was Dr. Christopher Burns (Ortho ’24, MS ‘24) selected to present his research at the American Association of Orthodontists meeting in May, but he won first place for the College of Diplomats of the American Board of Orthodontics Award for his work featured in the resident case display.

A: Dayton, Ohio

I also just finished my thesis on "Analysis of Clear Aligner Therapy Predictability for Mandibular Incisor Intrusion in Growing and Non-growing Populations"
Q: In what way did your Eastman experience allow you to grow?
A: Eastman has allowed me to get first-hand experience in managing complex orthodontic cases, and how to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
Q: Why did you choose Eastman?
A: Eastman is one of the best orthodontic residencies in the nation
Q: Best memory of your EIOH residency?
A: Attending the Tweed study course in Tuscon, AZ with my fellow residents
Q: Next steps after graduation?
A: I will be joining a private practice orthodontic group in Dayton, Ohio
