Q. What age did you know you wanted to be a dentist?
A.
Age 17. I originally applied to colleges for biomedical engineering. I shadowed my pediatric dentist over winter break in my senior year in high school and realized that pediatric dentistry was the career for me instead!

Q. Why did you want to be a pediatric dentist?
A. â€‹I wanted a career in which I could directly help the people who are our future: the children.

Q. Why did you choose EIOH to continue your career?
A.  â€‹â€‹I chose to teach at EIOH because EIOH provided me with 3 years of didactically and clinically superior post-doctoral training that shaped my early dental career and I couldn't wait to give back to EIOH!

Q. Most embarrassing moment?
A. â€‹The first time I got scrubs from the machine to go to the OR, I put them on and realized they had a huge hole in the thigh of the pants! The scrub machine was out of all other sizes of pants, so I had to get a huge scrub shirt that looked like a dress to cover the hole. The worst!
