Dr. Kruzer is an adult rheumatologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology. She accepts patients with all rheumatologic diseases. Dr. Kruzer is an adult rheumatologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology. She accepts patients with all rheumatologic diseases. Her area of clinical interest is the diagnosis and management of patients with autoimmune connective tissue disease, with a focus on raynaud’s phenomenon and systemic sclerosis. She is trained in point of care ultrasound for diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions. She is also trained in nailfold video-capillaroscopy for evaluating patients with raynuad's phenomenon. She provides individualized patient care and enjoys providing continuity of care to patients.

Dr. Kruzer's research interests include clinical research, quality improvement, and medical education. Her research focuses on early detection of systemic sclerosis with nailfold video-capillaroscopy technology, dermatologic manifestations of rheumatologic disease, and new treatment options for patients with systemic sclerosis. She is a medical educator, with interests in development and evaluation of rheumatology curriculum for postgraduate medical trainees.
