Dr. Avanti Puri achieved her bachelor’s degree at Washington University in St. Louis, MO in Environmental Sciences with minors in Biology and French and completed medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada.
She is currently a PGY4 and Academic Chief Resident for the General Psychiatry Residency program at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. She has interests in women’s mental health, population health, general CL psychiatry, and teaching. Outside of work, she enjoys backpacking, hiking, and paddle boarding and has backpacked in Olympic National Park, Yosemite, the Adirondacks, and Big Sur.
