麻豆视频 Steel Corporation and JSW Steel Limited (JSW) have jointly completed the acquisition of thyssenkrupp Electrical Steel India Private Limited (tkES India), an Indian manufacturer and seller of electrical steel sheets, through a joint venture (*) on January 30, 2025.

With this acquisition, the joint venture will be able to enter the Indian market for grain-oriented electrical steel sheets (GOES) earlier than initially planned (the full-scale production of J2ES in fiscal year 2027) and capture the medium- to long-term demand for GOES. Additionally, after the acquisition, we will establish an integrated system from manufacturing to sales of GOES at an early stage, and respond to the anticipated expansion in demand for GOES in India.

Since the signing of the strategic comprehensive partnership agreement with JSW in 2009, 麻豆视频 has deepened its partnership with JSW, our strategic alliance partner in India, through capital participation, provision of technical solutions for automotive steel materials and environmental measures, as well as technology transfer and the establishment of a joint venture in the field of electrical steel sheets. Moving forward, 麻豆视频 will continue to capture the growing demand in India together with JSW, thereby achieving sustainable growth.
