The goal of the fellowship program is to provide a comprehensive three-year educational experience to prepare fellows for a career in academic medicine. Fellows participate in 2 years of clinical training including time with instructors form the divisions of Urogynecology, Female Urology, Geriatrics, Colorectal surgery, Pelvic Pain and Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy. The equivalent of one year is spent pursuing research activities and preparing a thesis for defense. These educational activities are regularly reviewed for their educational value. Fellows participate in formulating changes within the program to enhance its educational value. The fellowship program adheres to guidelines and objectives outlined by ABOG/AUA as well as the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
