Paula DoylePaula J. Doyle, MD

Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology

Dr. Doyle graduated in 2007 from the University of Texas Medical Branch and completed her OB-GYN residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX 2011. Dr. Doyle completed her FPMRS fellowship in 2014 at the University of Rochester and started at the University of Rochester as our newest division member in 2014. Dr. Doyle is building her practice and has special interests in improving the quality of life for cancer survivors with pelvic floor disorders. She is also interested in fellowship research and developing tools to augment FPMRS research.

Erin DuecyErin E. Duecy, MD, MS

Associate Professor, Departments of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Urology
Fellowship Director

Dr. Duecy completed her undergraduate studies at George Mason University and attended the Medical College of Virginia (now the VCU School of Medicine) where she completed both an MS in Anatomy and medical school.  She then came to the University of Rochester for both her OB-GYN residency and FPMRS fellowship. While never having intended to become a permanent Northerner, she has been part of the division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Surgery since 2006.  Dr. Duecy has long been interested in education and was the first director of surgical simulation in the department of OB-GYN at URMC. She has served as the OB-GYN residency director since 2010. She still maintains a busy clinical practice with primarily vaginal and robotic surgeries- her favorite surgery is the colpocleisis. Dr. Duecy’ s research interests include care of the geriatric patient and post-graduate medical education. During her training, Dr. Duecy was awarded the residency trifecta of the Dr. Curtis Lund Award First Place for Resident Research, AAGL Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures, and the Perinatology Award.  She has received the Patient & Family Centered Care Award annually.

Joseph PanzaJoseph Panza, MD

Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology

Joseph Panza, M.D. is an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology. He has clinical expertise in conservative and surgical management for pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, fistulas, and recurrent urinary tract infections.

Gareth WarrenGareth J.W. Warren, MD, MSc

Assistant Professor, Department of Urology

Dr. Warren graduated in 2005 from the University of Maryland and from there he graduated from a General Surgery program at State University of New York (SUNY) in Syracuse. The next part of this journey in medicine took him to the University of Michigan where he completed the Michigan Department of Veterans Affairs Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar program in 2009. He then completed his Urology residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI in 2013. Dr. Warren completed a Genitourinary Reconstructive Clinical fellow program at the Urology University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 2014. Dr. Warren joined the Department of Urology at the University of Rochester in 2014.  His interests include incontinence, reconstructive surgery and voiding dysfunctions.

Pam Wigent

Pam WigentPamela Wigent received her BSN at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY in 1977. She went on to attend graduate school at  University of Rochester School of Nursing, graduating and achieving  NCC certification as a  Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in 1989.    She  has actively  worked in the area of Urogynecology since 1995.  Special interests include non-surgical management of urinary incontinence, diagnosis and treatment of interstitial cystitis and non-surgical management of pelvic organ prolapse.  She has expertise in the use of pessary devices as an alternative to surgery for prolapse and incontinence.   She is a recipient of the Highland Hospital Excellence in Nursing award.  She enjoys participating  in the education of nurse practitioner students, medical students and Ob Gyn Residents
