Education
Understanding the cellular and molecular basis of medicine requires integrated information from multiple levels of biology. Our faculty reflect this idea with a coordinated research program using cutting-edge biochemical and molecular methods to study cellular and integrative biology as a basis for understanding disease and developing therapeutics.
Students entering our graduate programs are typically considering degrees in Pharmacology or Physiology, and training in this area prepares students for independent research careers in biomedicine.
