440MPa grade bake-hardenable steel sheets (UNI HITEN) exhibit low YS at the level of 340BH, and show excellent surface-accuracy after press-forming.
Furthermore, UNI HITHEN is possible to thickness reduction of outer panels by the improved dent resistance through increasing work and bake hardenability.

Anti-aging property
440MPa grade bake-hardenable steel sheets (UNI HITEN) exhibit excellent anti-aging property and are possible to used in the worm area.

Contribute to thickness reduction of automotive outer panels
Steel sheets for outer panels are used in designation of parts with press-forming. If steel sheets has high yield strength (YS), the surface distortion of outer panels after press-forming is not suppressed. On the other hand, if the outer panels after press-forming has low YS, its dent-resistance is not sufficient, so that thickness reduction of outer panels is difficult. UNI HITHEN contributes to the thickness reduction of outer panels, which has been difficult previously, by achieving low YS of its steel sheet and high YS of outer panel after press-forming at the same time because of its high work-hardenability and bake-hardenability by controlling a micro structure of steel sheets.
